Product — Shareable summaries

  • Shipped weekly/monthly summary share links to the app (frontend #515). Share link creation lives on the summary pages, and shared views render at /share/:token.
  • Buttoned up staging auth so nothing leaks: required basic auth for \/share/`and`/u/`` too (frontend #516).
  • Wrote a quick changelog post to mark the release and the monthly quality notes on public profiles.

Writing & comms

  • Published two blog posts:
    • Comparison piece: interstitial journaling vs deariary.
    • Essay: “Why would I pay for something I can do with a notebook?”
  • Posted a privacy/transparency note on Bluesky about exactly what deariary collects, what goes to LLM APIs, encryption, and deletion. It picked up a couple likes, and I also liked the brand account’s version of the post.

GitHub Weekly Reporter

  • Added a new Swiss theme (International Typographic Style) — Space Grotesk, asymmetric layout, high-contrast grids (github-weekly-reporter #119).
  • Closed the “add alternative theme options for distinct visual identities” issue along with it.
  • Quick spin-up/merge/cleanup flow: created the feature branch, merged, and deleted it. Repo gained +1 star today.

Tiny metrics

  • Frontend open issues down by 3.
  • +1 follower, +20 following.
