Naming the thing

  • Posted on Bluesky about the nameless bucket that holds Spotify Wrapped, Apple Memories, GitHub contrib graphs, Strava year-in-review — and gave it a name: automatic memory.
  • Dropped the blog link there and kept it short. The line that stuck:

    Unnamed categories stay under-built. We are calling it automatic memory.

OSS maintenance sweep

  • Approved a batch of PRs across the toolchain:
    • circleci-tools (CLI, CircleCI, Norimaki)
    • bitflyer-tools (bitflyer, bitflyer-cli, DroidFlyer, cycle-flyer)
    • irasutoya-tools (irasutoya, irasutoya-cli)
  • Did housekeeping: deleted a bunch of old dependabot branches and pushed updates to master across those repos.
  • No new code from me today — just reviews and cleanup.

Tiny signals

  • GitHub: +2 followers.
  • Linear stayed quiet — no tickets moved.
