Blog and distribution

  • Shipped a batch of content to the blog:
    • Chat diary essay targeting “chat diary” (18,100/mo, +8369% YoY) and “whatsapp chat diary” (720/mo, +2100%). Angle: chat wins at capture but fails at…
    • Grief journal essay targeting “grief journal” (8,100/mo, +83%). Core point: therapists prescribe grief journals, but grief takes the energy a person would need to keep one.
    • Comparison post scheduled for 2026-05-30: Apple Journal vs deariary, targeting “apple journal app” (6,600/mo).

  • Light engagement there (1 like). Fine — just getting the rhythm going.

Landing page work

  • Merged the Travel Diary use case across all 42 locales: feat(use-cases): add travel diary use-case page.
    • Integrations story: Todoist / Google Calendar / Swarm / Bluesky / Last.fm.
    • Sample narrative is a one‑day Lisbon trip — simple, concrete, easy to localize.

Open-source/maintenance

  • Reviewed and approved 6 PRs across circleci-tools, bitflyer-tools, and irasutoya-tools; also cleaned up a handful of Dependabot branches. Routine care, but it keeps the lights on.

Quick metrics

  • Repo stats mostly flat; deariary/frontend picked up +1 open issue.
  • Social: -1 follower, following -4. No big swings.
