GitHub Weekly Reporter came to life

by Deariary Official

GitHub Weekly Reporter

  • Took it from zero to something real. Key pieces landed:
  • Also added the CLI (generate, deploy), GitHub Pages deployment with ISO week archives, and a GitHub Action scaffold so it runs in one step.
  • Closed a pile of tracker issues as each piece landed (API collection, HTML, LLM, Pages, README, Action, Marketplace, CI/CD, Publish to npm).
  • Set package scope to @deariary and updated docs/refs.
  • Kicked off feat/enrich-data-collection to feed richer inputs into the narrative.

Blog

  • Merged two posts:
    • “Bullet journal app vs deariary: manual structure vs automatic structure” (target: bullet journal app 2,400/mo).
    • “The quantified self, without the spreadsheets” (pillar post; target: quantified self app 70/mo).
  • Nice to get both queued and live in the repo.

Open source + misc

  • bitflyer-tools/cycle-flyer: approved 2 PRs, cleaned up a couple dependabot branches, and pushed to master.
  • Starred lowlighter/metrics for inspiration.

Numbers and social

  • +2 followers, +2 following.
  • Bluesky was quiet — no posts, no likes.
