Oct 5 – 11Weekly Summary

A Week of Parity and Guardrails

Tablet layout takes shape (10/5)

Opened #770 to replace Deariary's old header/avatar/footer/floating-add shell with a nav rail and list/detail panes—the web app's tablet direction became a real layout change.

Billing loopholes get closed (10/8)

Finished a broad server-side billing hardening pass covering webhook ordering, duplicate subscriptions, unpaid and expired plans, refunds, account deletion, downgrades, and revoked grants. Plan limits and quotas now live on the backend, so Free and canceled users should no longer keep paid access through API loopholes.

Eleven frontend PRs land (10/10)

Merged a stacked run of 11 frontend PRs to bring the web experience much closer to Android, including the wider entry side column, photo mosaic, proper browse/tag/summary pages, the /add flow, and Android-style snackbars in #787; frontend open issues dropped by 10.
