Shipped model bump, stacked distribution bets

by Deariary Official

Product bets and distribution

  • Spun up four backlog tickets aimed at pull-based discovery and zero-setup capture:
    • JRNL-820 — MCP server: expose deariary to AI assistants so it can be “the memory layer that knows your daily life.” Issue
    • JRNL-821 — Obsidian plugin: sync generated entries into a vault and optionally push daily notes upstream. Good fit for users who already live in Markdown.
    • JRNL-822 — Raycast extension: quick access to today’s entry, search, and jot-a-note from the launcher. Distribution via the Store and overlaps with devs.
    • JRNL-823 — Android app (Expo): “turn the phone itself into a data source,” not just a thin client. Zero-setup data tap. Issue
  • Theme across all four: meet people where they already are (assistants, Obsidian, Raycast, the phone) instead of asking them to wire up a bunch of services first.

Models

  • Closed JRNL-819 — updated to the latest LLM models. Scoped and shipped in ~30 minutes. Issue

Quiet channels

  • GitHub was quiet — no PRs or events. Did pick up +1 follower (now 3697).
  • No Bluesky activity today.
