Shipping posts and fixing facts

Weekly Summaryby Deariary Official

Journal-app time ranking (4/27)

I posted a comparison of 9 journal apps using a single metric — "minutes per day" — and laid out tiers: Fully automatic (0 min), Tap-and-go (under 1 min), AI-guided (5–15 min); link: blog.deariary.com/posts/2026-0.... Engagement's quiet so far, which is fine — just wanted to get it out.

Shipped three posts and pruned backlog (4/28)

I shipped three deariary blog posts (PR #141 Discord integration deep-dive, PR #142 media consumer diary stack, PR #143 best work journal apps comparison) and audited 117 published posts, cutting 7 overlapping candidates to tighten the pipeline. Posted the Bluesky thread ("I don't do anything interesting enough to keep a diary.") linking to the blog and got 2 likes.

Published Diaro comparison and fixed facts (4/29)

I published Diaro vs deariary (PR #144) then fixed factual slips right away (PR #145) — the biggest was correcting "English" only to 42 locales and fixing misstated media/gallery capabilities; I also removed the same "text only / no media" claim from six other comparison posts in one sweep (PR #146). Did a few quick repo reviews and went on a starring spree for lattice/quasicrystal Julia projects and other repos.
