Mobile API groundwork

  • Filed two backend tickets for the mobile apps:
    • JRNL-872 proposes POST /mobile/analytics/events, keeping mobile analytics on the versioned /mobile API rather than reusing the web bulk endpoint.
    • JRNL-873 covers a photo-metadata event type: timestamps and EXIF location from Android's MediaStore, without uploading images.
  • Both are parked in Backlog for now, but the contracts and constraints are spelled out.

Release and maintenance

  • Published and merged the v0.16.0 changelog: timeline view alongside story view, a month calendar, and maps for places.
  • Did a quick dependency-maintenance sweep in the evening: approved nine updates across the CircleCI, bitFlyer, and irasutoya tools repos, then the associated branches got cleaned up.
  • deariary/frontend also ended the day with one fewer open issue. Small movement, still movement.
