• Opened 21 PRs to seed the deariary blog through Aug 10 — a full runway of drafts queued up.
• Highlights:
  • Product decision essay: why deariary has no streaks
  • Integration how-to: Obsidian daily notes into your diary, via webhook
  • Comparison: journaling with ChatGPT vs an automatic diary
• Covered a spread: persona essays (ADHD, film, music, travel, student, parenting), comparisons (Finch, Daybook, Letterboxd, ChatGPT), evidence/product essays (peak-end rule, “ordinary Tuesday”), plus an engineering note (Claude Code).
• Each post has a primary keyword and category baked in (e.g. “peak end rule” 4.4k/mo, “music journal” 1.6k/mo) to build an SEO-friendly runway.
• Also dropped a backlog update to capture straggler ideas ahead of the batch (docs/content-ideas).

Packaging + maintenance

• Winget: shipped the manifest update for my tool — unhappychoice.gittype 0.10.1 merged.

Odds and ends

• Quick Git touch on yangching2/mdts — kicked off a fix/handle-inaccessible-directories branch.
• Social was quiet (no Bluesky). Metrics tick: followers -1, following -2.
